NOS8008 is a current/voltage/power/energy/charge monitor based on the INA228 from Texas Instruments. It contains an ultra-precise 20-bit ADC coupled with a 0.015 (15 milliohm), 0.1% shunt resistor for extremely accurate measurement of as much as +85V at up to 10A (~10µA per LSB) in high-current mode or up to 2.75A (~2.5µA per LSB) in low-current mode on either the high side or low side.
By measuring the voltage drop across the low-burden shunt resistor with its ultra-precise 20-bit analog-to-digital converter the current can be derived and power calculated conveniently made easy by the accompanying software libraries.

This interface is not suitable for measuring AC voltage or current.
