NOS8006 RS232 Interface

The NOS8006 is an RS232 transceiver that includes line drivers and receivers, a dual charge-pump circuit, and +/- 30kV ESD protection delivering compliant RS-232 performance at data rates up to 250 kbps.

The device meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-F and provides the electrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller (UART) and the serial-port connector of compliant equipment.
