Product details
NOS7002 is a dynamic NFC tag based on the ST25DV series. It is a battery-less device that contains a chip and an integrated antenna. When a magnetic field is detected by the antenna the device powers up and makes contact with a smartphone or card reader to exchange information.
The chip contains a 64-kbit EEPROM, an I2C interface for microprocessor communication, and an output pin for signaling events. On the reverse of the NFC FPC we included 3M tape so that the antenna can be adhered to surfaces such as the insides of enclosures.
User data in up to four configurable memory regions are protected from read/write by RF passwords in addition to an I2C password for microcontroller protection. Additionally, system configuration can be protected by RF passwords and I2C passwords.
NOS 7002 is the perfect choice if you want to use NFC to securely store configuration parameters on your device while it is in deep sleep or power-save mode.
