The Crowduino Mega2560 board is 100% compatible with the Arduino Mega2560 but with our special improvements to the power circuitry to improve stability especially when extensive I/Os are used.
Based on the same ATmega2560 as the Arduino ATMega2560 the board has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.
With more IOs and larger flash than the Uno or Leonardo series the Crowduino Mega2560 excels in applications that need more IOs or program space such as 3D printer controllers, CNC controllers, motor controllers or advanced peripheral access.
